Life Magazines started life in April 2005 when editor, Penny Clemmow, launched a community magazine called Southwell Life in her home town of Southwell. This first magazine was black and white and delivered to just 2500 homes in the town, but it featured an opinion piece, a gardening column and the first of a legendary series of restaurant reviews. Within a month it had gone full colour, within a year it had been joined by a sister magazine, Newark Village Life, and within 2 years there were four, professionally designed Life Magazines.
We now publish 5 lifestyle magazines that are distributed free to affluent towns, villages and suburbs in Nottinghamshire.
